  • . . . .North city jazz and blues festival , after 8 succesful editions is announcing its 9th edition.As every year, the organiyers have tried to maintain the high level of this international festival, where participants will, be Larrz Carlton trio, Nesa Japanac band, Ivana Ilić trio,Aleksandar Jacimovic quartet and manz others . . .
  • . .. Festival will be opened by Petar Rakić featuring 14 year old Milica Dobrić ,followed by Aleksandar Jaćimović quartet and Larry Carlton trio who will close the first festival night.
  • . . .Second festival night, 20. May will open Ivan Ilić trio, followed by Neša Japanac Band
  • . .On the 21st of May, the final festival evening, there will be a After Party in CRYM, ex VIVA club.
  • . .. .Larry Carlton (born Lawrence Eugene Carlton, March 2, 1948, Torrance, California) is an American jazz, smooth jazz, jazz fusion, pop, and rock guitarist and singer. He has divided his recording time between solo recordings and session appearances with various well-known bands. Over his career, Carlton has won three Grammy Awards for his performances and compositions, including the theme music for the hit television series, Hill Street Blues (1981).
  • . . . . Carlton started learning to play guitar when he was six years old, studying under Slim Edwards near his Torrance home. Taking an interest in jazz while at high school, his playing style was influenced by Joe Pass, Wes Montgomery, Barney Kessel, and B.B. King. Saxophonist John Coltrane has also made a notable impression on Carlton, and Carlton's live albums have featured cuts from Miles Davis's Kind of Blue.

  • . . .Nenad Stefanović - Japanac is one of the most well-known bass players in the Balkans. He recorded more than 400 albums with domestic and foreign artists. Among others, he recorded with Oliver Mandić, Bijelo dugme, Bajaga and instruktori. He lives in Belgrade.

 

  • . . Ivan Ilić was born in Belgrade in 1979. He held his first concert in Belgrade in 1995. with bands "Havarija"and"Free house". In 1999. godine gathers zoung, talented musicians and forms a group "Solid" which followed two studio releases: Ta-ta-ta-tira in 2000. and Jazz & Samba in 2003. In 2002. the band received a reward for the best young jazz band in FRY.
  • . . In 2004. he mowed to Barcelon, Spain, and continued to study modern and jazz music at "L'aula de música moderna i jazz del conservatori del Liceu".  He received a scholmarship from AIE association .
  • . . He graduated in 2006. and recorded two more albums "Chilly, Claud & Slavich" i Dirty shoes & high heels" (original compositions ).
  • . . At present, he lives in Barcelona and playing with different groups.

 

  • . . .Aleksandar Jaćimović je saxophone player born in Belgrade in 1964, where he completed music school and music high school. In 1987 he became a soloist of the RTS Big band, where he works at present. He performed on the festivals in Europe.
